Yiwen Zhang is a Chinese photographer, filmmaker and curator based in London. Born in 2000 and raised in a small town in China, her early environment fostered a deep curiosity about the world. While she initially pursued a degree in Law, relocating to London marked a turning point, leading her into the transformative realm of art.

At Kingston University, Yiwen refined her artistic vision, immersing herself in diverse experimental projects that shaped her creative identity. Her short film, Flower, became a defining moment, earning recognition in the “Eat Our Shorts” program at the British Film Institute (BFI) and Ealing Film Festival. This reflects her growing engagement with visual storytelling.

Branching into photography, Yiwen continues to explore narratives through her unique lens. With a sharp eye for detail and an evolving body of work, she is establishing herself as a compelling voice in contemporary visual arts, focusing on portraits and editorial shooting.
